The 2025 Kelton Family Summit Agenda

A few years ago, my wife and I started a tradition that has since become one of the most important rituals in our household: our Annual Family Summit. It’s a simple but powerful way for us to hit pause, reflect on the past year, and intentionally plan for the year ahead.

The format is straightforward, but the insights we gain are invaluable. Here’s how it goes:

  1. 1. Reflect on the Past Year

    • What are we proud of?

    • What milestones or accomplishments stand out?

    2. Plan for the Year Ahead

    • What are we looking forward to?

    • How much time do we want to spend together as a family this year?

    3. Address Concerns

    • What are we worried about?

    • What are our biggest threats or challenges?

    4. Evaluate Finances

    • How are we doing financially?

    • What adjustments need to be made?

    5. Set Family Goals

    • Where do we want to vacation?

    • What do we need to change to improve as a family?

Every year, this meeting serves as a reminder that the life we live is the result of the choices we make.

If you’re looking for a way to recalibrate and create alignment with your family, I encourage you to try your own version of this meeting. You might be surprised by how much clarity and connection it brings.
